MISSION STATEMENT

[X]press Publications and its staff members are dedicated to providing an independent and accurate information source for the San Francisco State University campus and the greater Bay Area community. Our reporting and investigations will observe stringent ethical standards as well as a determined awareness and reflection of the many ethnicities, cultures and differing interests inclusive of our audience. We will fully utilize the resources and technological capabilities at our disposal to expose truth and injustice, to express concerns and issues of our readers and best educate those we serve as objective, fair news gatherers. We uphold the public to the same standards of accountability and truthfulness that we maintain for each other. We advocate public engagement and discussion that will serve the greatest good, minimize harm and best exercise the constitutional rights of free speech, expression and assembly guaranteed every American and protected by public servants.
