SF State Hospitality Students Raise $50,000

The SF State Hospitality Management department held its annual fundraiser, Taste of the Bay, at the St. Francis Yacht Club with a goal of raising $50,000 for program development and student scholarships. For planning officers Angel Chao, Garin Wong, Michelle Martin, and Francisco Carrasco, the past five months have consisted of weekly meetings and intense planning for the event. These four students worked tirelessly to organize a fundraiser of professional scale, and reaped the financial and personal benefits of their efforts.
