Friday, April 17th
The Intelligence, Thee Oh Sees, Ty Segall, Annie's Social Club, SOMA, 9 p.m., $8, 21+ -- Thee Oh Sees, fresh off an amazing performance at Noise Pop and an appearance at SXSW, these guys are the hardest working local band that deserves your hard earned cash. Support from thrash-fuzz band the Intelligence and garage lo-fi rocker Ty Segall should make this show dancetastic.

Saturday, April 18th
Silversun Pickups, Rasputin Records, Berkeley, 4 p.m., Free -- These fuzz rockers have shot to the top real quick with their last effort, Carnavas. Their newest record, Swoon, which came out this past Tuesday, is full of maturity, emotion and noise. Though they have been confirmed on the festival circuit at both Coachella and Outside Lands this summer, this may be the last time to experience their intimate performances within a small audience.

Sunday, April 19th
42nd Annual Cherry Blossom Festival, Japantown, 11-5, Free -- Though the festival is in its second week, the colorful and graceful Grand Parade will be on this day, which is the pivotal event year after year. There will be delicious deals on Japanese food and D'Groove will be spinning records all afternoon.

Monday, April 20
The Big Lebowski, The Red Vic, Upper Haight, Various showings all day, $9 -- Whether you're going to be seeing Cypress Hill and smoking blunts or staying at home with your favorite bong, this stoner tradition in the heart of the Haight has been a flocking point on April 20th for many years. With prize giveaways, the $4.20 munchie special and other hilarious smokers to keep you company, this will be a must-see -- even if you own it.

Tuesday, April 21st
Black Kids, Mates Of State, The Independent, NOPA, 8 p.m., $20, 21+ -- Black Kids are making the indie circuit as the next dance poppers to watch out for. Their album, Partie Traumatic, is infectious and covered in cyanide-laden sugar. Mates of State, known for their ridiculously fun live shows, will make the show even more energetic.

Wednesday, April 22nd
Paolo Nutini, Serena Ryder, Slims, SOMA, 8 p.m. $11 -- Paolo Nutini, a huge heartthrob with an even bigger hole in his heart, croons tonight at Slims. His singer-songwriter, soul-twinged pop will enchant and intrigue.
