The Muni lines K/T, L and M are continued to be affected by this morning's incident, according to a San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency official.

SFMTA staff is working to re-rail the train and then a test train will run on the track before service can resume, said SFMTA spokesman Judson True in a press statement.

Services are expected to resume early this evening, though not in time for the start of the afternoon commute.

Bus shuttles will continue to provide services between Castro and West Portal stations.

In a separate incident, the J Church is blocked by a non-Muni accident, which happened around 2:55 p.m., at San Jose Avenue and Randall Street, said True.

Buses are providing service to J customers between Church and 30th streets, and the terminal at San Jose and Ocean avenues.
