Business building taken back by cops
 

At 3:25 a.m. more than 20 police broke the protest that surrounded and occupied the business building at SF State for approximately 24 hours and protesters moved to 19th Avenue's North and Southbound lanes.

The students and other protesters were blocking all traffic on 19th Avenue, near Holloway as police create a roadblock near Stonestown Galleria.

At 3:35 a.m. protesters were arrested within the building.

The police began taking away and arresting protesters in front of the building at 3:55 a.m.

At least 12 occupants were removed from within the building and 11 people outside the building were arrested.

As of 4:30 a.m., 16 people have been confirmed arrested by police officials.

Five protesters were arrested that were blocking the police vans as occupants were being loaded in.
