I would like to make a correction in regards to the piece that ran in the "Golden Gate [X]press" on March 6, 2008, which [was] called the "Low voter turnout engenders ASI campaign fund request."

Isidro Armenta is no longer the president of ASI [Associated Students, Inc.] and has been disqualified from holding office and any action that he may partake in is an act of an independent student and is no longer affiliated with ASI.

As of today ASI has made no request of such funding for student campaigns and has no intention of doing so.

Please print this correction as soon as possible.
