Making It Work: Employees at the Cesar Chavez Student Center

Every day, students file through it, meet around it, and spend time talking, eating, and studying within it. But few of the patrons realize that SF State students also help make the Cesar Chavez Student Center run. Everything from running the soundboards to fixing the copiers is done by the building’s student employees. Who are the people that keep the student center going? Dozens of students are employed part-time by the Cesar Chavez Student Center. What do they do, why do they do it, and what makes their jobs so vital to daily functions at SF State?
