Chad Murphy, age 26, was an artist with his own record label before he was shot across the street from his home. He is survived by a fiance, daughter, parents and slew of relatives. His family and friends choose to celebrate the life, rather than mourn the death, of loved ones that have died. Although outsiders may not identify with the death culture Murphy's family doesn't consider their traditional grieving practices abnormal or unwarranted.
