Street Survivors Need Tender Care
Community care and political accountability is essential for the Tenderloin neighborhood

Residents of the Tenderloin in San Francisco live in what’s considered the worst neighborhood in the City, where drugs, violence, and city politics affect their daily way of life.

Homeless individuals, residents, and city officials alike do their part to make life easier in a neighborhood where tenderness is hard to come by.

“The one thing I learned while down here in the Tenderloin compassion,” said Michael Williams, a resident of the Tenderloin for over 15 year. “Without compassion, you have nothing.”
