The Janet Pomeroy Center is located behind Lake Merced on Skyline Blvd. Most of the clients at the center have developmental disabilities such as mental retardation, cerebral palsy, autism, and epilepsy. The center features a therapeutic pool, sensory room, and a program for clients to spend the weekend at the center. An after school program for kids ages 7- 22 is also available. The center’s theatre program, Theatre Unlimited, is popular among the clients.
