SKATE To BART, or BART To SKATE

Every year, the spots and the people on the Roughneck BART tour are different, but the overall feeling is the same. Skaters from all over the Bay Area meet up to throw back a few beers and enjoy the abundance of skate spots conveniently located around BART stations. This year, about thirty to forty skaters rolled with the tour that began at San Francisco’s Potrero Del Sol skate park. An impromptu session at the 24th and Mission Street station was next, followed by a stop in Walnut Creek and a final gathering at Berkeley Skatepark. Some wait for the tour to show up at their local parks, while others meet up with it halfway. Either way, the tour is something every skater should hop on board for. There are only two things to keep in mind while rolling with the tour: First, don’t get in the way, and second, don’t get left behind.
