Global Women's Strike organizes march from City Hall to city jail on issues including military recruitment at public schools, treatment of lesbians, and the rights of ex-offenders, all of which concern student organizations on campus.

Protesters march through downtown streets, chanting with signs in hand, during the Women’s March on March 8. The 6th Global Women’s Strike on International Women’s Day began at San Francisco’s City Hall before marching to the Hall of Justice for a protest rally. Issues raised included pay equity for women, rape and torture in jails, sweatshop labor, protection for sex workers, anti-war sentiment, and many more.
