The Cesar Chavez Student Center will be closed for one day, on May 1. The Student Center governing board voted for the closure, in solidarity with May Day immigrants' rights protests and general strike. Immigrants are planning to stay home from work and school, in reaction to the recent legistlation surrounding new immigration laws.
