San Francisco State students and faculty walked out of classes and stood in solidarity with Africana studies professor Antwi Akom outside the Ethnic Studies- Psychology building. The charges against Akom were dropped last week but Akom’s supporters are demanding that President Corrigan apologize to Akom and enact guidelines to prevent racial profiling from occurring at SFSU.
