Fat Albert Offers Bird's Eye View

The US Navy’s Blue Angels came to San Francisco and put on a show for the Bay Area. Fat Albert, their C-130 cargo plane, took SFPD and marines for a special flight during their show.

Fat Albert reached 390 miles per hour and its passengers experienced two G’s and zero G’s during the flight.

The flight profile, a predetermined flight plan, buzzed the crowd at Chrissy Field. Major Stefan Mueller, Fat Albert’s captain also executed dirty flyby, which means flying over the crowd with the landing gear down.
