In this podcast, Brian Kearney, director of clinical pharmacology studies at Gilead Sciences discusses how HIV/AIDS drugs are researched and provides some technical insight as to how the disease works. Kearney talks about exciting new drugs such as microbisides and tenofovir, the most popular HIV/ AIDS drug produced by Gilead (brand name Viread).
