For three decades the Institute for Holistic Healing at SF State has invited students to learn alternative lifestyles and remedies to global problems. A wide variety topics on healing the mind, body and soul are taught through classes like Chinese Mind and Body Energetics, Holistic Health and Human Nature, or Art as Healing. This Spring holistic health internship students were invited to practice 64 days of personal and social evaluation during the Ghandi-King Season of Non-Violence. The Holistic Health Learning Center, loated in HSS 329, allows students to read, relax, and drink tea. The Center also encourages visitors to see just how much they can learn about helaing themselves and the environment around them. The Golden Gate Xpress Online provides an interactive package to explore alternative healing modes.
