REAL Food, REAL World Finally!!!

So today was another normal waking up day. I woke up tired and hungry. I was excited to find out what Juneteenth is. We all left and got to the celebration in City Hall. All that we can see and think about was BBQ. Yum! Delicious REAL food. We were excited to see good food being sold even though we had our subway sandwiches. I believe everyone was willing to spend a lot of money for a good non-cafeteria food plate. CC and I were excited as soon as we saw all the *bling*bling* jewelry. We were hoping also to get interviews.

So as soon as they said we could leave we ran to a booth with jewelry. While we were seeing jewelry we found someone to interview. We also found a very interesting activist who had a lot to say. He was from the Green party. After that we came back for lunch to discover that Subway was not good. We also found out we had to leave. CC, Justin and I were surprised. I hadn’t been able to interview a lot of people or buy anything. I was enjoying being there. They gave us ten minutes to get what we wanted. When we came back they all were not ready to leave. I guess they rushed us for nothing.

Then we went on the longest MUNI ride to Ocean Beach. I was tired by the time I got there. I did wish though that they had told us about going to the beach because we were unprepared. But at the end I had fun just standing in the water staying away from Ramon. He wanted to throw someone in the water. Looking at the ocean made me think a lot about everything.

The movie we saw was amazing. We all loved it because we were in suspense of what would happen next. It was a fun day.
