The past couple of days.....They was cool
Yesterday, I arrived at San Francisco State University for the first time of my life. As I hop off the Muni Bus I walked directly to the Mary Ward building to meet up with the other students and staff to check my bags in. After that we had an orientation that was really brief then shortly after that i was directed to my room. I unpacked all my things and felt like a college student at last. What could be better then getting a tour of a real exciting college that some people don't get the opportunity to visit?
We recieved a camera that records along with other materials that we were going to be using while here on campus. The first night we all sat in a circle and basically got to know each other names and etc. We did different activities with one another and laughed.
That night: I never felt so uncomfortable in my life, laying on a hard bed, trying to relax and sleep peacefully.
The next day we gathered in the hallway then went down to "city eats" to eat break fast. The food was terrible and i really didn't enjoy it but I couldn't really complain because I was hungry and I had to eat something. Right after breakfast we had to go to class and learn different techniques to apply to our journalism skills. I lightweight-dozed off in one class but I still managed to pull through. Later in the day we ate and had another class to attend. For the most part I really enjoyed the past two days.
I just hope that the rest of the days be more fun and energetic so I can really get engaged and end with a bang!
