Student Workers Getting Short-Changed Students who choose to work on campus lose the benefit of earning a higher minimum wage rate due to an exemption from the citys Minimum Wage Ordinance. Student Food Options Alter Eating Habits If eating fresh means eating at Subway or other SF State dining facilities that are open later than 7 p.m., then some on-campus residents would rather not eat at all. The City Eats Dining Center is the main eatery for the freshmen that live in Mary Park and Mary Ward halls. Coli bacteria found in certain bagged spinach, ultimately resulting in one death. SF State Quad Going to the Dogs Students are finding San Francisco State to be a very pet friendly campus. A sign posted in front of the school asks only that dogs be on a leash and under control at all times, yet at times, dogs can be seen playing freely on the grass in the quad.
