SF State Students Do LoveFest

The LoveFest, formerly known as the Love Parade, originated 17 years ago in Berlin as an electronica street festival with 150 ravers. Today it is celebrated in five countries and draws thousands of people. On Sept. 23, two SF State students continued their tradition of dressing up and getting down.

Professor Waits at Border, Classes Continue

SF State's first full-time Arabic language professor is stuck at the U.S./Canadian border indefinitely. On June 20 he traveled to the U.S Embassy in Toronto to upgrade his visa status where he was informed he could not reenter the United States until a security clearance granted by the U.S. Department of State.
