San Francisco's Part-Time Employees Get Sick Leave
San Francisco, as of February 5, 2007 is the first city in the country to have a mandatory paid sick leave for all workers regardless of their status as either part or full time. This comes accompanied with a raised minimum wage at the expense of small business owners. The law does not apply to on campus workers.
