Gators Accept Spoiler Role
The Gators' disappointing 2006 season ended Sunday afternoon the same way it started with a walk-off home run. This time it was Sonoma State’s Tyler Wightman, who delivered a pinch-hit two-run home run in the ninth inning off of Gator pitcher Ben Horner to seal the victory for the Seawolves 3-1.

Suzuki brings Gators a sigh of relief
As the primary closer for the Gators this season, Takane Suzuki is 2-0 with five saves and a 0.87 ERA. Batters are hitting a feeble .214 against him and he has recorded 15 strikeouts in 20.2 innings. Suzuki relies primarily on his fastball and breaking ball and so far he has been un-hittable.

The 2004-2005 SF State men’s basketball team fell two wins short of qualifying for the NCAA Division II tournament this season, finishing 15-12 overall and 12-8 against CCAA teams.
