Building International Mobility Whirlwind Wheelchair, a non-profit organization, builds “real world” wheelchairs for disabled people in third world countries. The organization began a class eight years ago at SF State that teaches students how to construct a chair from scratch that can be used by people in need. The wheelchairs differ from ones donated by other organizations because they are designed to be used on and off the streets. Students study and test out other wheelchairs to get a better understanding of how to make them more usable in everyday life.

Gators Lose By One Point in Overtime Gator's lose in overtime to CSU Monterey Bay 75-74. The Gator's also lost both games this weekend. On Friday they lost to Cal State San Bernardino 55-86 and on Saturday they lost to Cal Poly Pomona 79-63. In the last three seconds of the game, CSU Monterey Bay's Richard Jenkins was sent to the line to shoot two. The Gators were only ahead by one point and Jenkins only made one of his shots, which tied the game 61-61.
