Student-Run Gospel Choir Flourishes

SF State’s gospel choir started out with only seven members, no sheet music, no band, and no real place to rehearse. They would sing a cappella in different classrooms and sometimes hallways. Now, two years later, the gospel choir is a student-run group that is offered as a one-unit music course (jazz combo 338).
