SFSU Exchange Seeks To Offer Better Prices on Textbooks
The San Francisco State University Exchange can be a more cost-efficient way to buy and sell books but members of the student organization say that many students have yet to take advantage of it.
The SFSU Exchange is a Web site (www.sfsuexchange.com) that was created three years ago by former SF State business graduate student Kirk Lawrence. It is now a registered student organization whose main goal is providing students with the most effective methods of buying and selling textbooks.

Energy Drinks More Dangerous than Efficient
Red Bull and RockStar energy drinks are some of the most popular drinks on SF State’s campus. They are among the top three selling drinks at campus convenience stores. Red Bull outsells Classic Coke by nearly twice as many units per week, and Coke barely beats out RockStar for second place.

Study Shows Depression Common Among College Students
More than 30 percent of college freshman and 38 percent of college women reported feeling overwhelmed most of the time. The NHMA Web site states that both anxiety and depression are more likely to affect women.

Students attending California State Universities will be paying even more money per semester after the CSU Board of Trustees, on Wednesday, approved an 8 percent fee increase for undergraduate students and a ten percent fee increase for graduate students for the 2006-07 academic school year.

She’ll embark on a U.S. space shuttle with rocket boosters that will provide seven million tons of thrust. Two-and-a-half minutes into the flight, the shuttle’s three main engines, with a large fuel tank full of liquid oxygen and nitrogen, will take over.
