SF School Brings the Heat
The Temple of Poi in San Francisco offers fire-dancing lessons to those who can take the heat, literally. As the first fire dancing school in the nation, the school has had more than 900 students, about a dozen of whom have been SF State students, according to founder Isa “GlitterGirl” Isaacs, 37.

More than 30 SF State students took part in an authentic Japanese tea ceremony – a 400 hundred-year-old Japanese tradition – in Humanities room 117 this Friday. The tea ceremony was one of the last events held in celebration of the sixth annual International Education Week.

Inner City Youth Excel in the Arts
